Category: The Fightback

The fightback’, of course, is all too short-lived. Someone, someone with an eye on the value available for a plot of ‘un-used’ land, will soon send in the bulldozers and look to ‘redevelop’ the land in their own image – sharp, cold, organised to function – and leave no room for the wild. Truly, nature was already redeveloping such tracts of land in hues of green, touched with yellow, brown, red, purple and orange highlights. Nature ‘uses’ land in the most spectacular fashion and its drive to reclaim it is what inspired these snapshots taken here in this sub-tropical island suffocating under a parasitical concrete burden.
